Description

Tonearm:

Only a very low air pressure (0.030 MPa) is needed for this turntable to work properly. This pressure is effortlessly produced by a very quiet compressor, which is an inseparable part of the turntable.

The way the arm is operated on the air cushion is quite simple: Thanks to the pressure from the compressor, the arm bearing can detach and levitate in the air that streams out along the guide. The pressure to the bearing is provided by a thin silicon hose.

The extremely precise execution of the arm’s components and the subsequent increase in efficiency allowed for the use of very low air pressure, which reduces the compressor’s noise to absolutely zero.

The arm has a tilting system for easier handling and changing the disc. Due to the wide range of calibration options, the arm can support most MM /MC cartridges available on the market.

Motor:

A very quiet DC motor (12V) is used to drive the platter. The motor, which is located next to the acrylic platter, transmits the torque using a thin silicon belt.

The platter bearing consists of a sleeve made of bronze and a high-gloss polished axis. The whole platter is resting on two balls immersed in an oil bath. The bearing is made with such a high precision that an oil film is created between the two friction elements, further reducing friction and bearing noise.

The turntable can play discs recorded at 33 and 45 RPM. The control panel located on the side of the turntable changes speeds and fine-adjusts the rotation speed of the disc. As a standard, a high-quality power supply unit, located in the compressor, is coming with the turntable. This allows for the compressor to be controlled from the panel on the turntable.
